Brett Hirsch - Program Director/Coach
Brett is entering his fourth season as Coach and Director with the Wisconsin Shooters basketball program. He participated in the Shooters program as a player from 1998-2001; his team was a national qualifier in 1999 competing in Indianapolis. He is very eager to coach, train, and mentor kids with a passion for the game of basketball.
He enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point after high school to play basketball for Coach Jack Bennett and coach Bob Semling. During the summers of 2003-2005 he worked camps, demonstrating drills, coaching and supervising kids at the Pointers basketball camp. During his years playing at UWSP the team won back-to-back National Championships. After Brett’s sophomore season of basketball, he decided to make the switch back to the gridiron. Just four games into the season, he earned a starting spot at Free Safety and finished up his collegiate career on the football field starting his final two years. In December of 2007 Brett graduated from UWSP with a Bachelor’s of Science degree.
Currently, Brett is involved with the USFTL (United States Flag Football League) and plays for Matty’s Bar and Grille. In January of 2010 Matty’s placed 3rd at Nationals in Florida. Brett has also been a Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters since June 2008.
He currently works at Direct Supply as an Account Manager. Brett and his wife, Rachel, reside in Wauwatosa, WI.

In Basketball, 2002 Greater Metro Conference Player of the Year,Waukesha County Player of the Year ,1st team, All-Suburban, 2nd team All-Area, Honorable Mention All-State, Team MVP Junior and Senior year
In Football, 1st team All-Conference both ways WR and DB, 1st team All-Suburban DB - All Area DB - All County DB
Athletic Career at UW-Stevens Point:
In Basketball, Back to Back National Champions 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 coached by Jack Bennett and Bob Semling , Basketball camp supervisor during the summers, 2003-2005.
In Football, Started at Free Safety 2006 and 2007 seasons, In 2006 led in WIAC conference games in Interceptions.Finished top 10 in tackles in 2007 for the WIAC conference, Honorable Mention All-Conference,2006 Team Newcomer of the Year, 2007 Team Defensive Back of the Year.
