15-white fall to DTA Spartans 63-60 in the silver bracket championship at the Adidas May Classic in Bloomington, IN May 11-13

After a strong effort by all Wisconsin Shooters teams particpating in the Adidas May Classic May 11-13, two age groups wre able to make the championship games of their age groups silver brackets.
The u15-White team fought hard all weekend going 4-1 earning a spot in the championship game Sunday afternoon in Bloomington, IN. In the championship game facing a tough DTA Spartans(WI) team, Keenan Bell (2015 G, Milwaukee Vincent HS) led all scorers with 17 pts while Anthony Carver (2015 F, Wisconsin Lutheran HS) and Sebastian Luksich (5'11" G, Arrowhead HS) each contributed 12 pts in the losing effort.
This is the u15-white's second runner-up finish after earning a silver bracket championship game apperance during the NY2LA Sports Spring Extravaganza held in Minnetonka, MN April 20-22, losing in OT to Kingdom Hoops.
The U14 Wisconsin Shooters team fell to Elite Truth in the championship game of the silver bracket in the 2012 AMC.

What a busy couple weeks for the Wisconsin Shooters program. As our teams were beginning practices and tournament action for the current travel season, class of 2012 players were taking visits to schools and making their decisions on where they will attend college in the fall. Below is a current list of Class of 2012 WI Shooters players who have made their decisions. We would like to congratulate them and wish them nothing but success in the classroom and on the court!

Class of 2012 Trevor Wattawa & Larry Fitzgerald earn All-State honors

The WBCA All-State teams were announced on Friday, March 16th and two former Wisconsin Shooters players from the Class of 2012 were chosen to represent their playing division. Wattawa (6'6) helped St. Thomas More finish a game behind Pewaukee in the Blue Division standings of the Woodland Conference by averaging 19 ppg and pulling down just under 8 rpg. His ability to score inside and outside were huge factors in the Cavaliers’ success.
Fitzgerald (6'3) guided Milwaukee Pius XI to the State semi-final game on Friday, March 16th at the Kohl Center in Madison where his team fell to #1 ranked Onalaska 38-32. Helping Milwaukee Pius XI win the Classic Eight Conference Championship with a league record of 12-2, Fitzgerald was second on his team in scoring at 17 ppg and led his team in rebounds at just under 9 rpg.
