9s go 4-0 overall & earn a 1st place finish in the platinum bracket at the NY2LA Sports Invitational May 17-19!
The U9 Wisconsin Shooters collected their second Championship of the spring going 4-0 overall and winning the platinum division at the 8th annual NY2LA Sports Invitational held in Milwaukee, WI May 17-19.
Their first championship was earned at the Chicago Spring Classic held April 26-28 at Joy of the Game. This group has also finished runner-up at the NY2LA Sports Swish N' Dish April 6-8 and playing up in the u10 division, a 2nd place finish at the Spring Shootout May 11-12 held in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
This group looks to stay hot this weekend in the Chicago area as they, along with several other Wisconsin Shooters teams, are set to play in the Best Buy Chicago Classic. Good luck to all the Wisconsin Shooters teams in action this Memorial Day Weekend!
17s go 5-0 overall earning a 1st place finish in the platinum bracket at the Captiol City Classic April 26-28!
The U17 Wisconsin Shooters collected their second Championship of the spring going 5-0 overall and winning the Platinum division at the Gym Rats Capitol City Classic held in Stoughton, WI during the second of five NCAA live periods.
Teams from all over the midwest took part in the event and presented our group of young men many different challenges throughout the weekend.
Losing G Jordan Perez to an ankle injury in the final four game Sunday, CJ Polk (pg, Wisconsin Lutheran HS) stepped up in the championship game with 18 pts helping the team in every way!
Others who performed well throughout the weekend for the 17s were 6'4 Paul Miller (G, Kettle Moraine), 5'11 Keith Franklin Jr (G, Wisconsin Lutheran HS), 6'6 Andrew Duening (G/F, West Bend West) and 6'4 Jordan Perez (G, Greendale).
This group has two weekends off and look to get healthy and focus on the next challenge ahead in Milwaukee at the NY2LA Sports Invitational held May 17-19. GO SHOOTERS!!!!!
